Be part of one of our most exciting events of the year! Join our nominees and industry guests as you help deliver an unforgettable day of activities and experiences. From guided tours of TVNZ’s TV studios to hands-on workshops with leading industry partners, this is a unique opportunity to see the screen, television, and media sectors in action.
This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience, meet industry professionals, and contribute to an inspiring day for the next generation of filmmakers.

Volunteers will be required to commit to the full day. You'll be asked to arrive by 11.00am on the day itself, with further details provided to successful applicants ahead of the event. The day concludes at 5.00pm. Learn more about the event here.
Volunteer tasks may include:
Registering and greeting attendees
Offering general event assistance
Supporting pack-in and pack-out activities
Assisting presenters and workshop facilitators as needed

Applicants for this position should:
Be aged 18 or over (unless otherwise specified)
Be fluent in spoken English and comfortable communicating with guests and staff
Be able to tolerate extended periods of activity, including standing, walking, or moving around the venue (wheelchair users are welcome)
Be available to volunteer for the full day, from 11.00am until 5.00pm.
Be punctual, reliable, and professional in attitude and appearance
Be comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
Have a friendly and approachable manner when interacting with attendees
Be physically able to assist with light manual tasks (e.g. moving chairs, signage, setting up spaces)
Be respectful and inclusive of people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
Have an interest in film, media, or events (preferred but not required)

You are someone with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. You have an enthusiastic, bubbly, and positive attitude. You are also organised and able to multitask, including in demanding situations. You are reliable and punctual, and also love to have a good time! If you’re passionate about or interested in the film industry, that’s a bonus!
