Eligibility Criteria

You’re eligible if you’re currently aged 15 - 24 years, and are studying with a secondary or tertiary education provider.

You’re eligible if you have a personal or student project. We support short films, documentaries, video adverts, animations, and music video projects. We do not support projects for work or ineligible student assessments.

You’re eligible if you’re currently based in Aotearoa New Zealand. If you’re based in Australia, click here.

The Process

Brainstorm A Project
Get started with your project, think about what you hope to achieve, and how you plan on getting it done.

Submit An Application Form
Tell us a little bit about yourself, your project, and what you’d like funding for. Tell us about your portfolio, background, and aspirations. We may ask to meet you to discuss your application.

Sign An Agreement
If your application is successful, we’ll sign an agreement and you’ll get paid. You’ll be invited to our Festival events, but compete separately from other contestants.
